Bay trees as they are commonly named are great for cooking . Used in stews, soups etc they can really enhance their flavour . They are also lovely just to have the aroma around if you bruise the leaves. These are great little bushes (300 - 400mm) high and they can even make a hedge if you want a dark green lush look, are incredibly hardy and will even take coastal conditions.
