Raspberries are a great deciduous shrub, suitable for the home garden. Once planted, the main canes will need to be supported, so they are best trained to a trellis or post and wire frame. They prefer full sun or part-shade situation and are best planted in a deep, fertile loamy soil. They do not like heavy clay conditions with bad drainage. Raspberries prefer a cooler climate.

'Heritage' is a late season variety with small-medium sized, dark red berry abundant from mid-autumn until frosts. Great used in pies, tarts, jams and sauces or simply eaten raw!!
